ClipMode, LLC (“ClipMode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ClipMode.ai and related services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights. By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal information
Such as your name, email address, account credentials, billing contact details, and communications you send to support.
1.2 Usage and device data
IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, timestamps, referral URLs, and security logs (including signals used for abuse prevention and content-safety enforcement).
1.3 Content data
Reference images, prompts, trained model metadata, generated outputs, moderation flags, and related technical artifacts necessary to provide training and generation features.
1.4 Payment data
Payments are handled by third-party processors. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status, not full card numbers stored on our servers.
2. Lawful Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Contract: To provide the Services you request (account, training, generation, billing).
- Legitimate interests: To secure the platform, prevent fraud and abuse, improve features, and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
- Legal obligation: To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and report serious illegal content where required.
- Consent: Where required for optional communications or non-essential cookies; you may withdraw consent at any time.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain training, generation, and account features;
- Run automated and manual safety systems to detect prohibited content;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and credits;
- Communicate about your account, security, and product updates;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect users, ClipMode, and the public.
4. Data Storage, Retention, and Security
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and meet legal requirements. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize personal data from active systems within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, for backups (rolling deletion), fraud prevention, or safety investigations.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No system is perfectly secure.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers (hosting, analytics, email, payment processing, AI inference, moderation) under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or when we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent serious harm, including reporting potential child exploitation as described in our Terms;
- Professional advisors (lawyers, accountants) under confidentiality;
- Business transfers in connection with merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.
6. Your Rights — GDPR / UK GDPR
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you;
- Rectify inaccurate data;
- Erase data (“right to be forgotten”) in certain circumstances;

- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;

7. Your Rights — California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising — we do not sell personal information for money; if our practices change, we will update this policy and provide a clear opt-out;
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

8. Account and Data Deletion
Request deletion at privacy@clipmode.ai or through account settings when available. Deletion includes account profile data, trained models, and stored outputs tied to your account, subject to legal retention and backup cycles described above.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided information, we will delete it and may report serious safety concerns as described in our Terms and Conditions.
10. International Data Transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA/UK.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security. You may control non-essential cookies via browser settings or consent tools where provided.
12. Automated Decision-Making
We use automated systems to classify prompts and media for safety and policy enforcement. These systems may block or flag content before generation. You may contact us to request human review of significant account actions taken primarily on an automated basis, where required by law.

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be notified by email or in-product notice.
